Altuve misses Marwin, Severino hates vegetables and Romo stays in Florida

Severino hates vegetastrongles

Luis Severino took some extreme measures during the off-season by cutting down on tostones and fried chicken. Desperate times call for desperate measures. “I really hate eating vegetables,” he told The New York Times’ James Wagner.

RIP Popeye

Johnny Cueto left us heartbroken after he posted on his Instagram that his beloved horse Popeye died. Johnny is one of our favorite people to follow on social media because he posts the best workout videos, Dominican food pics and his adventures with Popeye. Que triste. RIP Popeye.

Altuve misses Marwin González

José Altuve was asked about his friend and former teammate Marwin González. “The first time I tried to talk to him about this free agent stuff, he cut me off right away,” Altuve told the Houston Chronicle. “He was like, ‘I don’t want to talk about it.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, whatever.’” We just want to see González playing soon.

Romo stays in the Sunshine State

Sergio Romo, who played the last season and a half with the Rays, agreed to a one-year deal with the Marlins. Pending a physical, he will play with the Marlins. We’re ready to see Mexican flags waving at Marlins Park.

Pro Post of the Day

The Red Sox are looking at the 2019 season with Álex Cora in their sights. Can Cora and the Red Sox repeat their World Series season in 2019? Only time will tell.

Who said tires are only for cars and flipping? Not this young pelotero who is using a tire to step up his ground ball game.
