Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus loves his arepas. Corn bread pockets stuffed with savory fillings, it’s part of every Venezuelan’s daily meal.

In this edition of 5 Cuts, not only does Andrus say who makes the best arepas, but he also talks about music and reminisces about his first home run and first heroes.

Andrus, born in Maracay, comes from a family of ball players. In 2011, Andrus and his older brother Erold got a chance to play together during a Rangers’ 2011 spring training game.
