Álex Cora documentary destronguts tonight on MLB Network
“Álex Cora: The Making of a Champion,’’ airs at 9pm ET. The documentary will examine Boston Red Sox manager Álex Cora’s childhood in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and his 14-year journey through the majors. Cora made history in October by becoming the first Puerto Rican manager to win a World Series.

Juice Gets Another Tattoo
“Perfectly Imperfect” are the words that will be forever engraved onto the back of the head of our favorite MLB barber, Juice Tandron. Juice posted this video of him getting some new ink done on his Instagram with the caption “Didn’t think it was gonna be so painless…” Looks painful to us. Ouch.
Welcome strongack Vinny Castilla
Former Mexican slugger Vinny Castilla will manage Club Naranjeros for the 2019-2020 winter ball season. Castilla, who was born in Oaxaca, Mexico, played 16 years in the majors from 1991-2006. This is a homecoming for Castilla, who was a player-manager for the team in 2008.
Adrián González launches a new app
Former Dodgers first baseman Adrián González co-founded a player-centric fan app called PopFlyXP. The app is designed to enhance a fan’s connection to their favorite player through four categories: the game, lifestyle, preparation and charity.
