A-Rod on the air, Chirinos lands in Houston and Canó’s new number

You know Alex Rodríguez the pelotero. You know Alex Rodríguez the broadcaster. Well now, meet Alex Rodríguez the podcast host. A-Rod is hosting a seven-part podcast with Barstool Sports called “The Corp.” We know he can hit jonrones and analyze béisbol with the best of them. Now, we’ll get to learn more of his business acumen with a podcast that will feature guests such as Kobe Bryant and “Shark Tank” co-star Barbara Corcoran.
Robinson Chirinos swaps teams
Catcher Robinson Chirinos is closing in on his new casa. Luckily, for him and his family, he won’t be moving too far. Chirinos and the Houston Astros reached an agreement on a one-year deal. Chirinos spent the last six years with the Texas Rangers, meaning he’ll only have to take a quick trip on I-45 down to his new casa. Now, to find a new spot for arepas and tequeños … Let us know if you have any recommendations we can pass along!
Canó’s new numero
Robinson Canó is no stranger to New York. Since he didn’t have to spend time looking for the best spot for la bandera or tres golpes, he had time to pick out a new jersey number. He went with 24, for good reason, too – to honor a leyenda, Jackie Robinson.
