Mixed Manny messages, Fortnite battles and Venezuelan brothers

THE MARINERS ARE READY FOR A TRIP TO UPSTATE NEW YORK!

This Tuesday, Jeff Idelson, the president of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, will announce who will be elected into the Hall of Fame in 2019. It’s safe to say the Mariners want to party in Cooperstown, N.Y. this summer.  ¡WEPA!

MACHADO WORKS OUT WITH WHITE SOX?

OK, you see what we did there, adding fuel to the fire. Manny Machado wasn’t working out with the White Sox organization. Technically he was working out with current White Sox players, his brother-in-law Yonder Alonso and friend Jon Jay. We captured this Instagram story via Amber Alonso, Yonder’s wife, who snapped Manny working out with a black and white hat that looks like it could be a Sox hat from our angle. ?

OR IS MANNYWOOD STAYING IN LA?

Dodger fans woke up to a surprise tweet by Héctor Gómez claiming the Dodgers had made an offer to Machado through a radio interview with Machado’s dad. Loyal baseball Twitter followers went in and did some investigating. It’s safe to say the Dodgers had “interest” in Machado and nothing else. We can just imagin the next chapter in the Manny Sweepstakes claiming he’s going back to Baltimore, but don’t count on it.

BECOME OBSESSED!

Carlos Correa appears to have other obsessions beyond playing Fortnite with his Astros teammates. We can’t stop watching his Fortnite battles with Lance McCullers, Jr. and wishing we were in on the battle and not a “third party” looking in from the outside. In his most recent workout video, Showrrea encourages everyone to be anything they want to be through hard work and obsession.

PRO POST OF THE DAY

We all need somebody to lean on… especially MVPs. José Altuve posted this captioned pic from the 2018 All-Star game with his fellow Venezuelan, Gleyber Torres “2527.” Is that the number of home runs the two will hit this season between the two of them?

FAN POST OF THE DAY

Fortnite y béisbol … a match made in heaven!

We’ve seen what Correa can do at the plate. But have you seen what he can do with a heavy sniper on Fortnite? It’s arguably just as impressive. It’s no secret Fortnite and peloteros go hand in hand. Now these young peloteros have the perfect shirts to show that connection. Hopefully our shirt is in the mail.

Happy Birthday!
