Black History Month begins, Mo visits Cooperstown and teams start packing

Black History month begins

Afro-Latinos Roberto Clemente and Minnie Miñoso are remembered for breaking racial barriers and creating milestones. Miñoso was the first black player in White Sox history.

Mariano Rivera visits the Hall

Rivera took a tour of the Hall of Fame for the first time as a newly elected member.  He met with media and signed where his plaque will hang in July. He answered a few questions. Fans could listen in on Facebook.

February has arrived.

Pitchers and catchers are just days away from reporting to spring training. We can hear the sound of cleats stomping against the pavement and baseballs hitting mitts in Arizona and Florida.
