Who throws a trident?

Apparently the Dodgers do! After capping off a four-run, ninth inning comeback, outfielder Alex Verdugo took a picture with what appears to be Aquaman’s trident.

Concern in Houston

Cubs outfielder Albert Almora’s foul ball hit a young fan who was immediately rushed out of her seat. A shaken Almora was consoled by manager Joe Maddon and teammates. He eventually walked down to near where the child had been seated and embraced a security guard.

The Astros offered this update after the game. We hope that young fan is OK.

Astros injuries mount

The Astros placed All-Star shortstop Carlos Correa on the IL because of a fractured rib. Correa said he suffered the injury while receiving a massage at home.

Fan Post of the Day

We’re not sure we’re comfortable enough in a crouch to try this throw with a baseball or a softball.

Pro Post of the Day

The Minnesota Twins hopped on a plane in style. Ace José Berríos shared this family photo from before takeoff. Shoutout to Nelson Cruz for the excellent La Tortuga shirt.
