Houston’s Baseball Royalty and Piña Power

The Bronx is a long way from Cuba, but the Astros’ first baseman will look to represent his family name well tonight in Game 4 of the ALCS.

Yuli Gurriel comes from one of the most prominent baseball families in Cuba. His father is a legend. His younger brother has also become a major leaguer.

Earlier this year Gurriel recently sat down with our very own Jennifer Mercedes to discuss his family’s place in Cuban béisbol and, of course, his piña hair.
