Dominican HOFers Martínez, Guerrero remember Robinson

Hall of Famer Frank Robinson, one of the iconic baseball figures of his generation, was remembered for leaving his mark on all corners of the baseball world.
Some of the greatest Latino players in history paid tribute to Robinson, who nurtured his managerial skills in Puerto Rico before becoming the first African American manager in Major League Baseball with the Cleveland Indians.
He had his first crack as a manager with Santurce, leading the Cangrejeros to the regular season title in the 1968-69 season.
His connection with Latino baseball didn’t stop there. Pedro Martínez and Vladimir Guerrero, who played for him when they were on the Expos, remembered Robinson and the influence he had on them.
