Lindor, Ramírez winning the WAR in Cleveland

A major league team has been playing baseball in Cleveland since 1871. What was once the Cleveland Naps became the Indians, but the rich, colorful history of the franchise is as deep as any.
Over the 147 years accounted for by BaseballReference.com, there have been only five instances when two Cleveland position player teammates achieved a WAR of at least 7.0 in a season together. The feat has only been accomplished twice in the last 100 years.
With one week of regular season baseball remaining, Francisco Lindor and José Ramírez are not only MVP candidates but are also on pace to join this exclusive list in Cleveland history. In each of the five previous seasons, at least one of the two players is an inducted member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.
