Thanks to Topps' PROJECT 2020, some classic baseball cards are getting a makeover. Topps PROJECT 2020 is a year-long collection on that visually re-imagines classic baseball cards through the lens of slect contemporary artists. Andrew Thiele is a multi-disciplined artist based out of NYC and has collaborated with some of the largest brands in the world. He participated in Topps PROJECT 2020 to rework Derek Jeter, Nolan Ryan, & Willie Mays cards. Andrew talked to Ozzie Guillén Jr. about his process and vision for his take on Topps classic cards.
