Iván “Pudge” Rodríguez shared this photo with Mexican soccer legend Jorge Campos on Tuesday morning. Pudge even claimed Campos was a better golfer than he was a soccer player. Campos must be a heckuva golfer, in that case.

Charros champs

Charros de Jalisco took home the Mexican Winter League title on Monday night, beating Yaquis de Ciudad Obregón 11-1. Charros will represent Mexico in the Caribbean Series that starts next week in Panamá. Mexican American Sergio Romo picked up the final three outs for Charros and shared his pleasure with winning a title in Mexico.

Blue Jays, Galvis agree to deal

Freddy Galvis and the Blue Jays agreed to a one-year deal worth $4 million. Galvis has a club option for 2020. Last season with the Padres, Galvis slashed .248/.299/.380 with 13 home runs and 67 RBI.

Jansen down 25 pounds

Dodger fans, get ready for a healthy, slimmer Kenley Jansen this season. The Los Angeles closer revealed to Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times that he has lost 25 pounds this summer.
