MORE MAGIA

Javy ‘El Mago’ Báez was up to his usual tricks at Wrigley Field during the Fourth of July game against the Detroit Tigers. The AL team felt the magic when he stole home (again) by switching his tagging arm.

BROTHERLY LOVE

Ronald Acuña Jr. was very proud to see his younger brother shortstop Luisangel Acuña sign with the Texas Rangers during international signing day. In true older brother style, he posted congratulations along with some advice.

SEVERINO SIBLINGS

The Acuña brothers weren’t the only ones celebrating béisbol as a family. The Yankees signed Luis Severino’s little brother Rafael, a fellow right-handed pitcher, to their academy in the Dominican Republic. Luis was able to share the good news with his little brother who had been told the Yankees plans by a friend affiliated with the Dominican-based International Prospect League.

FÚTBOL FEVER

Most of us know Willson Contreras can catch and hit behind the plate but this week he showed us his passion for the footy and his skill at juggling the ball while enjoying family day at Wrigley Field.
